BSF – 12 Months to Go!

BSF – 12 Months to Go! thumbnail

The external walls are up, the windows are in and we are now counting down to when we will finally move into the new Beckfoot and Hazelbeck School. Our BSF Student Leadership Group has presented a short film showing the new school interior to each year group in assembly. This has given students the chance to see for the very first time the scale of the new building from the inside, its three floors, the central atrium area, the hall and the LRC. To see the film visit the media player page of this website.

BSF students are now taking part in the consultation process on the interior; looking at signage, furniture and floor colours and materials, as well as wall colours for each area of the school.

Only 12 months to go!

Its a shame it wasn’t ready earlier, I’ve had to go through my school life in the old building, the next generation get fantastic facilities! that running track out there looks pretty snazzy as well.

Farewell to our leaving 6th Form students thumbnail Farewell to our leaving 6th Form students

We said farewell to our leaving 6th Form students at an excellent 6th Form Prom at the Midland Hotel on Thursday. Superbly organised by 6th Form Council, we all had a great time. The food was good, presentations were suitably embarrassing for those that won and there were a lot of smiles.
