Sport Relief – Rise to the Challenge

We are fund-raising for Sport Relief and have set ourselves a £500 target. Various ‘Rise to the Challenge’ events will be run during SPA time. The challenges are:

Challenge 1 – Penalty Shoot out against Mr Oddy (Sports Hall)

Challenge 2 – How far can you cycle in 1 min? – Miss Armitage (Fitness Suite)

Challenge 3 – How far can you row in 1 minute? – Mr Barnes (Fitness Suite)

Challenge 4 – Basketball free-throw competition – Mr Lawal (Sports Hall)

Challenge 5 – Tug of war, teams of 5 – Miss Lancashire and Mr Stripe(Tarmac/ Netball Courts)

Entry to each event is 50p, prizes will be awarded for first place in all challenges. Events will take place on the following dates:

Monday 15th March – Year 11 and Sixth Form

Thursday 18th March – Years 7 and 8

Friday 19th March – Years 9 and 10

Do you have to wear non uniform on the day?

There is no non-uniform day for Sport Relief.
