Building Schools for the Future

Building work is progressing well.

Since September we have seen our new school begin to assemble which is very exciting – it even has a roof now! The new building should be available for us in early 2011 with the completion of the project at the end of that year.

When the new facilities are complete, we will have a school to rival the best in the country. The exciting opportunities presented by our co-location with Hazelbeck Special School will give us all a unique opportunity to share our learning as part of a truly inclusive school community. Exciting times!

Farewell to our leaving 6th Form students

We said farewell to our leaving 6th Form students at an excellent 6th Form Prom at the Midland Hotel on Thursday. Superbly organised by 6th Form Council, we all had a great time. The food was good, presentations were suitably embarrassing for those that won and there were a lot of smiles.
