Science Week Goes With a Bang!

As part of Science Week, the Science Faculty has invited local primary schools to come into Beckfoot to see ‘Whizz Bang’ Science demonstrations. Primary schools taking part are Cottingley, Eldwick, Saltaire, Shipley C of E, Trinity and All Saints, Priestthorpe and Low Ash.

The demonstrations start with fire writing and end up with a very loud BANG! The sessions are designed to encourage students to look forward to Science at Beckfoot and to demonstrate the facilities on offer. Students are finding the sessions great fun, Science is now without doubt their favourite subject!

The sessions will be running throughout March and into April.
